Special Sessions

Call for Special Sessions (Coming Soon)

The program for ICASSP 2018 will include Special Sessions that complement the traditional program with new and emerging topics of particular interest to the signal-processing community, particularly those that are in line with the theme of the conference.

Those who are interested in organizing a special session may want to contact one of the special session chairs before preparing a formal proposal, which must include:

  • Title of the Special Session
  • The reasons why the special session is important and timely.
  • Short biography of the organizers
  • List of six (6) contributed papers with information on each paper including a short abstract of each contribution (organizers may not contribute more than one paper).
More information will be provided once the call for proposals is is released in March of 2017. All proposals will be due on August 11, 2017.
